Guide to Xico’s Dia de los Muertos Festival (tomorrow!)

Looking forward to Xico’s Dia de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life Festival tomorrow? Maybe you’re like me and you don’t know which amazing thing you want to do first. Here’s a photo guide to the attractions and activities with photos by Kelly Peterson from last year’s festival.

See Zarco Guerrero MC the Main Stage featuring a variety of performers.

Hear storytelling, comedy, ballet folklorico and more on the South Stage with MC Xchel Hernandez.

Shop for art from local and regional artists, and add to the community mural.
Get your face painted like La Catrina or El Catrin.

Remember to take a break on the grass to eat delicious tacos and churros.

Author Stella Pope Duarte will be in the Xico galleria at 2pm for some storytelling.

Dress up as La Katrina or El Katrin and enter the contest at 4:30pm on the main stage.

Join the procession to the community altar at 5:15pm.
